The Education, Youth and Sports Congress 2026 was held from 11 to 13 February 2026 at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia.
Objectives of the Congress:
- To serve as a consultation forum on the preparation and implementation of policies with sub-national levels and relevant stakeholders.
- To review the progress in achieving the key performance indicators of the Pentagonal Strategy.
- To review the progress in achieving the indicators of performance agreements.
- To review the progress in implementing reforms in the education, youth and sports sector.
- To review the progress in implementing the Education Sector Strategic Plan 2024–2028.
- To review the progress in implementing the directions set out in previous congresses.
- To review the progress in implementing the Annual Operational Plan for 2025.
- To identify various challenges that act as obstacles.
- To provide recommendations and key measures to be incorporated into the Medium-Term Budget Strategic Plan for 2027–2029 and the Annual Operational Plan for 2027.
