Strengthening Education Collaboration: NEP Hosts 2nd Quarterly Education Champion-Leader Meeting

On 05 June 2025, the NGO Education Partnership (NEP) will host the 2nd Quarterly Education Champion-Leader Meeting at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh. This pivotal gathering will bring together leaders from various educational sectors to discuss key challenges and collaborate on solutions aimed at improving Cambodia’s education system.

The Education Champion-Leader Meeting (ELCM) is an exclusive event designed for Chairs and Vice-Chairs of Provincial Education Sector Working Groups (P-ESWGs) and members of NEP’s six thematic working groups. These groups include experts and advocates from the fields of non-formal education, early childhood care and education, education for children with disabilities, primary education, school reform, teacher capacity development, and youth empowerment. The goal of the meeting is to foster greater collaboration, enhance advocacy efforts, and create a unified voice for educational reforms.

The meeting’s theme, “Tackling the Implementation Gap to Transform Education,” reflects the ongoing challenges of translating educational policies into tangible outcomes. Participants will engage in discussions to explore how to bridge these gaps, share best practices, and develop strategies to improve the quality and accessibility of education across Cambodia.

In addition to networking opportunities, the meeting will feature a series of collaborative sessions, including policy updates, a gallery walk, and open discussions on joint initiatives. NEP’s commitment to fostering strong relationships among education stakeholders ensures that the meeting will serve as a platform for mutual support, capacity-building, and actionable solutions.

As NEP continues to play a central role in Cambodia’s education sector, the Education Champion-Leader Meeting will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening partnerships and advancing the collective mission of enhancing education in the country.
