As a coalition organization, the NGO Education Partnership (NEP), together with 50 NGO and INGO members, has developed a joint statement to provide input for the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport (MoEYS) to consider. This initiative comes ahead of the Education Congress 2023-2024, which MoEYS will hold on February 24-26, 2025.
The joint statement expresses appreciation for MoEYS’s continuous efforts in improving Cambodia’s education system. At the same time, it highlights key challenges observed by NEP members and emphasizes the importance of addressing existing gaps. The statement also includes recommendations and suggestions aimed at strengthening education policies and ensuring more effective implementation.
With contributions from 50 NEP members, this collaborative effort reflects a strong commitment to advancing the quality of education in Cambodia. By presenting these insights ahead of the Education Congress, NEP and its partners hope to contribute meaningfully to shaping future education policies and fostering a more inclusive and equitable learning environment for all.
