Job Opportunity: STEM Teacher/Teacher Trainer at TDSO

Greenspots is a joint initiative between the Teacher Development Support Organization (TDSO) and the NGO Education Partnership (NEP). To support this important project, TDSO is currently seeking a STEM Teacher/Teacher Trainer to join the team.

Cambodia is facing increasing challenges due to climate change, with rising temperatures and unpredictable weather patterns affecting daily life and the education sector. In response, Greenspots, a Climate Change-Resistant Schools Project, has been developed to create sustainable and resilient learning environments that can withstand these environmental adversities. This initiative is founded on three core pillars: enhancing school infrastructure, integrating STEM education and teacher training, and fostering community involvement. Implemented within a broader Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) framework, Greenspots aims to address climate change at both local and global levels through a comprehensive, education-focused approach.

Position Details:

  • Salary: Negotiable, based on experience
  • Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia
  • Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop curriculum and lesson plans following the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach.
  • Collaborate with regular teachers to deliver lessons at various levels, including primary and secondary schools.
  • Coach teachers and support the delivery of climate-change-related content.
  • Travel regularly to other provinces to support program implementation.
