Empowering Education for All: NEP at the 12th Inclusive Education Forum

The NGO Education Partnership (NEP) proudly took part in the 12th National Forum on Inclusive Education, reaffirming its commitment to advancing inclusive education for people with disabilities. The event was held on December 20, 2024, in Kampong Cham province and brought together approximately 150 education stakeholders from diverse sectors.

In line with its mission, NEP also recently launched a social media campaign, “Disability Does Not Limit Education Opportunities,” aimed at raising awareness among parents, communities, teachers, and schools about the importance of education for individuals with disabilities.

The forum served as a vital platform to discuss strategies and share insights on creating an equitable and accessible education system for individuals with disabilities. It was graced by the presence of the Secretary of State from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport, who highlighted the government’s dedication to fostering inclusive policies and practices within the education system.

Participants engaged in meaningful dialogue, addressing challenges, sharing best practices, and exploring collaborative approaches to make education more inclusive and empowering for learners with disabilities. NEP’s involvement, complemented by its awareness campaign, underscores its ongoing advocacy for inclusive education as a cornerstone of equitable development and social justice in Cambodia.

This gathering and the campaign together exemplify the collective efforts of stakeholders to build a more inclusive future, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of education.
