The Global Campaign for Education (GCE), in partnership with GIZ, is thrilled to launch “EdTech 101,” an online learning programme specifically designed for youth and students.
This engaging initiative seeks to overcome barriers to integrating technology into education systems by equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively advocate for digital education and tools. Taking place on 12 December 2024, from 3:00–5:00 PM SAST, the programme will address key topics such as the intersection of EdTech and human rights, the global digital divide and skill gaps, and innovative approaches in EdTech, including real-world examples, successes, and lessons learned.
By participating, attendees will learn to define and articulate EdTech effectively, coordinate advocacy for education technology policies, and explore solutions to bridge digital divides while supporting SDG4 implementation.
