The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) proudly announce the 5th Annual Global Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (GPE KIX) Symposium. This pivotal event will convene global experts to delve into diverse perspectives on the use of evidence in policymaking.
Drawing on insights from government officials, civil society organizations, researchers, policy stakeholders, and global knowledge initiatives, the symposium will illuminate how evidence informs decision-making processes. Additionally, the event will highlight results from KIX-supported projects in select thematic areas, offering valuable perspectives on advancing evidence-based policymaking.
The symposium spans two days of enriching discussions and interactive sessions.
Day One will feature high-level panel discussions moderated by experts, focusing on the challenges and opportunities surrounding evidence use in policymaking. Topics will include the dynamics of national evidence ecosystems, the power of partnerships, and the critical role of trust and reciprocity between researchers and policymakers.
Day Two will offer parallel sessions showcasing thematic work supported by KIX.
