IIEP Strategic Debate: Leveraging Data to Enhance Education Delivery

The International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) invites participants to its fourth Strategic Debate, titled “Connecting Data Points to Improve Education Delivery,” on Thursday, 12 December 2024, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM CET. This online event will explore the potential of modern education data systems and technologies to revolutionize how governments produce, share, and utilize education data.

Advancements in Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) have transformed them into more complex and interoperable architectures, enabling precise planning to address challenges related to equity, inclusion, and sustainability. These systems empower stakeholders, from central and local authorities to schools and citizens, with actionable insights.

The debate will focus on critical questions: How are education data systems and technical advancements concretely used to improve education delivery? How can these innovations be translated into better outcomes? Promising strategies to encourage the effective use of education data, particularly by local authorities, schools, and citizens, will be discussed.

This event offers an excellent opportunity for education professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue and share insights on maximizing the impact of education data systems. Join the conversation to contribute to the future of data-driven education delivery.
