The UNESCO Chair in Comparative Education Policy, in collaboration with NORRAG, invites participants to the third session of its lecture series, featuring Osmany Porto de Oliveira, Assistant Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp).
This session will take place on Monday, 9 December 2024, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM CET, in Geneva, and online. The event will explore how international and national actors navigate uncertain futures, shape national developments, and address policy missteps stemming from flawed projections.
The series delves into the complexities of global aid structures, highlighting tensions, inequalities, and the disconnect between global agendas and national priorities. The session will be introduced by Chanwoong Baek, UNESCO Co-Chair in Comparative Education Policy and Academic Director of NORRAG, with the lecture conducted in English and interpretation available in Portuguese, Arabic, and Russian for online attendees.
