TDSO, one of NEP’s members, is excited to announce the launch of a groundbreaking initiative aimed at strengthening English language education in Laos through a grassroots approach, building on our successful programs in Cambodia. To drive this innovative effort, TDSO is seeking a motivated and dynamic professional to join our team as an English Teacher/Project Manager based in Siem Reap, Cambodia, with regular travel to Laos.
This unique role combines hands-on English teaching expertise with robust project management skills to support cross-border educational development. The successful candidate will play a dual role in delivering impactful English language training and managing grassroots initiatives in Cambodia and Laos.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Training (50%): Design and deliver English language programs, mentor local teachers, adapt teaching materials, facilitate workshops, and lead the Cambodia Learning Exchange Program for Laotian teachers.
- Project Management (50%): Coordinate activities across both countries, maintain stakeholder relationships, monitor progress, manage small grants, and oversee logistics for training and exchange programs.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, TESOL, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of three years of English teaching experience.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with basic Laotian knowledge as a bonus.
- Experience in teacher training or grassroots development projects.
