Empowering Inclusive Education: Celebrating Teacher’s Day and Enrollment Initiatives in Local Communities
Under the USAID-funded Civil Society Support (CSS) project, managed through FHI360, NEP, along with its NGO members and partners, celebrated Teacher’s Day and launched an Enrollment Campaign across Kampot, Siem Reap, and Ratanakiri provinces. This celebration forms part of a collaborative advocacy initiative with the Provincial Education Sector Working Groups, aimed at enhancing access to quality, inclusive education for children and students.
During the campaign, key stakeholders—including teachers, schools, parents, communities, and local authorities—were encouraged to join efforts to promote messages of inclusivity. Core messages emphasized that “disability does not limit educational opportunities,” that “quality teaching involves gender-responsive practices,” and that “multilingual educational resources are essential for Indigenous students.” The campaign, running from October 25 through November 30, is conducted both in person and online, reinforcing a commitment to inclusive education for all students.
