The 50th edition of EDUNETTALK brought together educators, government representatives, and NGOs in a dynamic online session to discuss reforms in primary education standards in Cambodia. Hosted via Zoom and broadcast live on NEP-Cambodia’s Facebook page, the event focused on Standard 1 of the Model Primary School Standards—improving student learning outcomes. The session aimed to explore teacher responsibilities and best practices that enable primary students to excel academically.
Distinguished speakers included representatives from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, along with NGO members, who shared insights on current interventions, teacher training programs, and strategies for supporting students with lower academic achievement. The engaging discussions underscored the critical role teachers play in shaping student success, especially in resource-limited settings. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions, sparking a rich dialogue on sustainable improvements in primary education.
As part of NEP’s monthly EDUNETTALK series, the event continues to foster knowledge exchange and collaborative approaches to educational challenges, aiming to drive impactful change within Cambodia’s educational landscape.
