The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) is actively engaging in key international events in late 2024, including the Summit of the Future, the Global Education Meeting (GEM), and the C20/G20. These processes, though intergovernmental, offer unique opportunities and challenges for civil society organizations (CSOs).
To discuss GCE’s involvement in these events, GCE will host an informational webinar on 4 September 2024, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM SAST. The webinar will cover how these events are organized, the key actors, political agendas, and the positioning of the right to education. It will also explore CSO engagement opportunities and develop strategies to amplify GCE’s voice in these multilateral processes.
