All Ears Cambodia (AEC) is a local, non-profitable, non-governmental organisation (NGO) established for the relief of persons with hearing impairment and deafness and the preservation and protection of hearing in Cambodia. The NGO has been running for over 18 years and is registered with the Ministry of Interior. It has a 3-year renewable Memorandum of Agreement with the Ministry of Health.
AEC focuses on the weakest and hardest hit, currently working in partnership with over 70 local and international aid agencies. Through its clinics in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Battambang and Kratie, the NGO provides ear and hearing health care for those in need of help. The medical work often revolves around ear infections, especially in children. The team meets international standards, treating disease using appropriate examination/therapeutic techniques. For those without infection but unable to hear well, the clinic offers a range of diagnostic services from basic audiological tests to specialized behavioural and electrophysiological ones such as those needed for infants. AEC provides a comprehensive range of hearing aids for its patients’ needs. It has a fully equipped ear mould laboratory and hearing aid repair service at each of its clinics. In response to the lack of health care accessibility, the team also runs outreach clinics to bring healthcare to those in need. It currently operates in eight provinces as well as across Phnom Penh municipality.
The most recent activity of AEC is the donation of hearing impairment aids to marginalized learners.
