World Education Cambodia is Hiring an Admin Officer

World Education Cambodia (WE/C) is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving education and life outcomes. WE/C has been operating in Cambodia since 1991. WE/C is seeking qualified Cambodian national to fill the positions below.
Admin Officer (1 Position Based in Phnom Penh)
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee logistical arrangements for meetings, workshops and other relevant events;
• Ensure that all office equipment is well maintained, and supervise necessary repair and maintenance to equipment and property, while maintaining records of all such activities;
• Assist in procurement of new equipment or vehicles needed by WE/C;
• Ensure that WE/C vehicles (including motorcycles) are well maintained and safely kept, and that vehicle records are submitted on time;
• Procedure WE/C identification card for staff;
• Update staff list and contact information as necessary;
• Oversee the maintaining and updating the office filing system;
• Translate World Education social media posts into Khmer, help to administer social media channels and translate other communications features, as requested;
• Translate project documents from Khmer to English and English to Khmer, as needed;
• Assist in recruitment process.
Required Qualifications/Experiences/Skills:
• Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least 3 years of work experience in overseeing logistics and administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good attention to details.
• Good attitude, pleasant disposition and ability to take initiative in work.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Khmer.
• Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Gmail.
Strict compliance with WEI’s Safeguarding Code of Conduct: This position may entail having direct or indirect contact with children on occasion. The Admin Officer must strictly comply with WEI’s Child Safeguarding Policy. Any breach or failure to comply with this will be taken seriously by WEI and will result in disciplinary action.
This position will involve direct and indirect contact with children and therefore additional screening measures will be carried out, including the requirement to sign a Declaration of Prior Convictions and specific safeguarding questions being asked during interview and in reference checks.
