: In order to ensure the continuous operation of libraries in educational institutions that conduct teaching in two shifts, the Ministry provides the following instructions:
Primary Schools must organize librarians appropriately in accordance with the standards for primary school libraries. In cases where librarians work two shifts, additional duty allowances must be provided equivalent to those of teachers who work two shifts.
General Secondary Schools must organize librarians properly according to regulations. In cases where librarians work two shifts, additional duty allowances must be provided as overtime compensation.
Based on the reasons stated above, the Chairpersons are requested to implement these instructions effectively starting from the 2013–2018 academic years.
