Enhancing Teacher Training and School Reform Policies

The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport is committed to improving education through enhanced teacher training, performance evaluations, and comprehensive school reform initiatives.

Teacher Training and Performance Evaluation

  1. Strengthen training programs focused on teaching methods and on-site training.
  2. Expand teacher training initiatives to improve instructional quality.
  3. Implement performance evaluations for educational staff to enhance accountability and effectiveness.

School Reform Initiatives

  1. Develop and expand new generation schools.
  2. Implement effective school management practices.
  3. Focus on key principles of school reform:
    • Improve teacher and principal training programs based on professional standards.
    • Develop operational guidelines for school management, covering:
      1. General administration and management
      2. Learning and teaching processes
      3. Educational financial management
      4. Personnel management
    • Strengthen school management through student assessment, increased autonomy, accountability, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Establish a system for upgrading qualifications of school principals and teachers through collaboration with education institutions, including the Faculty of Education (RUPP), National Institute of Education, and regional pedagogical centers.
    • Integrate technology into school management and teaching by providing digital resources, experimental equipment, and training.
    • Transform high-potential schools into new generation institutions focused on science and technology, with additional government funding and community contributions.
    • Foster connections between school learning, higher education, and private enterprises through collaborations with universities, vocational institutions, and businesses.

These strategic initiatives aim to enhance education quality, strengthen school management, and ensure students are equipped with the necessary skills for lifelong learning and career readiness.
