Guideline on Supporting the Learning Process of Displaced Students

To facilitate and ensure the learning process of displaced students, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport provides the following instructions to relevant units, public educational institutions, education staff, teachers, parents, and guardians:

• The Ministry:

Allows all displaced students to temporarily enroll in schools located near displacement areas or places of residence, on a voluntary basis.
• School Management Committees must:

Arrange and establish support teams.
Receive and facilitate student enrollment according to grade levels.
Organize classes and schedules for displaced students.
Provide regular counseling and encouragement to displaced students.
Establish subject-based study clubs to provide support, especially for Grade 9 and Grade 12 students.
Prepare reports on student enrollment and the learning situation of displaced students.
• Parents and Guardians must:

Bring their children to register at schools near displacement areas or places of residence.
Encourage and educate their children to develop resilience and focus on learning.
• Municipal, Provincial Departments of Education, Youth and Sport, District/Khan Offices of Education, Youth and Sport, and relevant authorities must:

Provide cooperation and support to schools during the enrollment of displaced students as well as throughout the teaching and learning process.
Prepare reports on the support provided to displaced students and submit them to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (Department of the Ministry of Education, Telegram number: 012 883 552).
