BEST Q4 Meeting: Building Collaboration for Children’s Education in Battambang

The Battambang Education Sector Team (BEST) gathered for its Q4 meeting on November 10th, marking another milestone in our collective commitment to improving children’s education across Battambang province. We were honored to have NEP’s Executive Director and Project Coordinator join us in supporting BEST’s important work.

Meeting Highlights

The meeting brought together all BEST members at the P-ESWG venue in Battambang, with generous support from Forum ZFD, who provided the meeting space, refreshments, and solidarity lunch. The day was designed to strengthen collaboration and amplify the collective voice of education stakeholders working for children in our province.

Key Objectives Achieved

The meeting successfully addressed three critical objectives:

1. Membership Updates and Future Collaboration
We took time to update BEST’s member list, ensuring our network accurately reflects all active partners committed to education excellence in Battambang.

2. Research Progress Sharing
NEP presented progress updates on ongoing research initiatives and opened dialogue about collaboration opportunities with BEST members. This exchange highlighted the importance of evidence-based approaches to education development.

3. Provincial Education Learning Forum Preparation
Members engaged in collaborative discussions to prepare for the upcoming Provincial Education Learning Forum, ensuring diverse voices and perspectives shape this important event.
