The 7th National Conference on Transforming the Education Paradigm Returns This September

The NGO Education Partnership (NEP) is pleased to announce that the 7th National Conference on Transforming the Education Paradigm will take place on 11–12 September 2025 at The Factory Phnom Penh. This highly anticipated event serves as a national platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action, bringing together education stakeholders from across Cambodia and beyond.

Under the theme “Projecting the Education Outlook: Reimagining the Future, Together,” the conference will focus on shaping Cambodia’s education priorities starting in 2026, aligning with the Education Strategic Plan (ESP) 2024–2028 and the country’s broader reform agenda. The event will provide an opportunity to collectively examine progress, identify persistent challenges, and generate practical, forward-looking recommendations that ensure no learner is left behind.

The two-day program will feature a high-level opening plenary with insights from government leaders, UN agencies, and development partners on Cambodia’s education progress under the Cambodia Sustainable Development Goal 4 (C-SDG4), the Education 2030 Roadmap, and the ESP. Thematic workshops will then invite participants to engage in in-depth discussions on five priority areas:

  • Child Rights & Education

  • Education Financing

  • Climate Change & Education

  • Equity & Inclusion

  • Digital Education

Each thematic session will aim to produce actionable recommendations and contribute to a joint national statement that will be shared with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) and other decision-makers.

The conference will bring together a diverse mix of participants, including government officials, civil society organizations, educators, youth, development partners, and the private sector. This broad participation reflects NEP’s commitment to ensuring that education reform is inclusive, collaborative, and grounded in the voices of those directly impacted by policies and programs.

In addition to policy discussions, the event will serve as a valuable networking opportunity. Participants will have the chance to connect with potential collaborators, share innovative practices, and explore new partnerships aimed at improving education quality, equity, and resilience in Cambodia.

Registration for the 7th National Conference will open soon. Interested participants are encouraged to follow updates on the NEP website and official social media channels to secure their spot. Given the national significance of this event and the limited number of spaces available, early registration is highly recommended.
