NEP Welcomes Lifesong Learning Organization (L.L.O) as Member of the Month

We are excited to welcome Lifesong Learning Organization (L.L.O) as NEP’s newest Member of the Month. Based in Takeo province, LLO is committed to supporting children’s access to education, particularly among disadvantaged communities.

We had the pleasure of speaking with a representative from LLO to learn more about their work and what led them to join the NEP network.

When asked how they learned about NEP, LLO shared that it was through a local meeting in Takeo province where an NEP representative introduced the organization and its mission. The connection sparked interest, and as LLO’s representative explained, “I am interested and would like to know more about what NEP offers and how it helps support school children.”

LLO’s work closely aligns with NEP’s mission to promote inclusive, quality education. Their focus is not only on academic support but also on the holistic development of children. “Our organization helps the community and people to know and believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior,” the representative explained, “and most importantly, we help children go to school and receive better education for their future lives.”

The organization runs a variety of programs including free preschool and primary classes, English and computer courses, vocational training, and material support for families in need. In partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, LLO is currently implementing a project to support early education and poor children across Takeo province. In 2024–2026 alone, they aim to reach over 100 students annually through early childhood education and skills training in English, sewing, and computer literacy. They also provide uniforms, school materials, and organize annual Christmas charity events that benefit hundreds of families.

On the topic of collaboration, LLO emphasized their eagerness to connect with others in the education sector. “I am willing to learn and participate in order to further children’s education,” they said. They also encouraged other education-focused NGOs and CSOs to consider joining NEP, saying, “Definitely yes!”

We are thrilled to have such a passionate and community-driven organization in our growing NEP family. LLO’s commitment to education, especially for vulnerable children, reflects the spirit of cooperation and grassroots action that NEP proudly stands for.

We look forward to working together with LLO to promote inclusive education and support their efforts in Takeo and beyond.
