In this initial workshop, the P-ESWG secretariats are invited to share their experiences and lessons learned since NEP’s support has diminished, welcome a presentation on an important guideline from the government officials, look into some existing resources and manuals and think about the next steps each provincial networks must take to ensure that civil society in their area is supportive, effective and productive.

Introduction:
NGO Education Partnership has been mandated to support the provincial civil society, strengthen its capacity, and facilitate its cooperation with the local government.
NEP has gone through a challenging period, re-organized itself, and now we are ready to support P-ESWG and develop sustainable independent operations and governance structures and resource mobilization strategies, as well as provide the provincial civil society networks with the means to effectively engage with the local government.

- To follow up with P-ESWG Secretariats on re-activation plans
- To conduct a reflection session on P-ESWG operational needs
- To learn about the perspective and experiences in collaboration with POE
- To explore means of communications between P-ESWG and POE
