Where: SUNWAY Hotel
Organiser: Save the Children, Plan International, and World Vision
Objective:
To launch the Ending Violence Against Children in and around Schools in Cambodia (END VAC) project and inform key stakeholders of the project’s goals and approaches.
The END VAC project, funded by the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children, Safe to Learn Initiative, will promote a child-safe learning culture, free from all forms of violence, among all education stakeholders in Cambodia. In order to realize this, the project will aim to reduce violence against children (VAC) in and through schools through the provision of evidence-based tools and approaches across two provinces: Siem Reap and Preah Vihear.
The project has established a consortium of partners convened by Save the Children, which includes World Vision and Plan International, and leverages existing VAC collaborations and school-based partnerships to strengthen implementation. With consistent leadership from MoEYS, the project will support the rollout of the Operational Manual on Child Protection in School Policy.
