Quality and healthy human capital is a crucial driver of economic growth, cultural preservation, and innovation, ensuring sustainable long-term development. Recognizing the importance of expanding the achievements of the school feeding program, the Royal Government of Cambodia has launched the School Feeding Policy 2024-2035. This policy aims to strengthen cooperation among ministries, institutions, the private sector, and relevant stakeholders by integrating and complementing their roles and responsibilities.
The policy is designed to provide safe and nutritious food to schoolchildren, supporting their physical and cognitive development while contributing to the creation of a resilient and prosperous society. By enhancing nutrition, intelligence, and growth, the initiative seeks to improve labor productivity, gender equality, and overall human capital development, ensuring a strong foundation for Cambodia’s future.
