Equivalency Programme is one of the important components of NFE programmes. The programme mechanism is to provide a new chance and opportunity for all citizens who do not have access to formal education to continue their study again, leading to life-long learning and progressing toward the complete world of work. This policy is also a major and the right path to the global trends which are the strategies and targets of EFA National Plan. It also broadens the scope of education needs in Cambodia to be multip-form and multi-sector in learning at all levels from primary to secondary levels.This kind of education is much needed to improve the quality of life contributing to achieving the poverty reduction strategic plan, National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) and Education Strategic Plan (ESP).
