The recent Education Congress highlighted significant achievements in Cambodia’s education, youth, and sports sector, aligning with the Pentagonal Strategy – Phase 1 of the Royal Government. The sector has made notable progress in increasing enrollment at all educational levels, particularly in 9-year basic education, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and inclusiveness.
Key improvements include the development of educational infrastructure, expanded scholarship programs, enhanced teacher competence, and the promotion of digital education. Strengthening school governance and fostering community engagement have also been prioritized to create a more supportive environment for lifelong learning. These efforts reflect the government’s commitment to building a strong and inclusive education system that empowers learners across Cambodia.
