Warm greetings to all! We hope this finds you well.

We are writing to share updates on the 2022 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), which is just around the corner. It will be held from Tuesday, 5 July, to Thursday, 7 July, and from Monday, 11 July, to Friday, 15 July 2022, under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). The theme for the 2022 HLPF is “Building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.”
Governments, CSOs, international partners and other stakeholders will gather to review the progress of the implementation of the SDGs amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and provide guidance and recommendations on how to advance the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda. This is an important space to engage as SDG 4 on quality education will be reviewed in-depth, along with Goals, 5 on gender equality, 14 on life below water, 15 on life on land, and 17 on partnerships for the Goals.
ASPBAE will also be developing Civil Society Spotlight Reports on SDG 4 for the 2022 HLPF. We plan to launch these during the official HLPF side event of the Global Campaign for Education (GCE). We encourage colleagues, especially those who have budgeted for this in their EOL, to join us in producing these Reports.
Below are other important details and links for the HLPF.
All official meetings of the 2022 HLPF and the High-level Segment of ECOSOC will be held in person at the UN Headquarters in New York.
