The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoEYS) has released the Education Strategic Plan 2024-2028, setting the direction for Cambodia’s education system over the next five years. This plan focuses on improving the quality, equity, and inclusivity of education across all levels, building on the successes of previous reforms. Key priorities include strengthening school governance, revising the curriculum, enhancing child health through nutrition programs, advancing digital education, and promoting physical education. The plan also emphasizes engaging communities and parents in education while ensuring that all Cambodian students have access to a holistic, inclusive education that nurtures good behavior, fitness, and lifelong learning. By focusing on accountability and leadership, the Ministry aims to transform the education sector and align with national and international development goals. The ESP 2024-2028 marks a significant step toward creating a more inclusive and high-performing education system in Cambodia.
