The quarterly Education Champion – Leader meeting serves as a national gathering, bringing together chairs, vice chairs of P-ESWGs, and members of the Thematic working group four times a year for collaborative sharing and learning. This event fosters mutual support, sharing of best practices, networking opportunities, capacity strengthening, and deeper insights into project support, particularly highlighting the benefits for provincial education networks.
The Education Champion – Leaders Meeting 2024, facilitated by NGO Education Partnership (NEP), aims to unite chairs, vice-chairs, and leaders from P-ESWGs and SSWGs as well as the members of the six sub-sector working groups (SSWGs) focusing on areas such as Non-Formal Education, Early Childhood Care, Education and Disabilities, Primary Education, School Reform, and Teacher Capacity Development. It provides a platform for discussing, debating, and addressing key issues and challenges within the Cambodian Education sector. This quarter’s agenda will focus on priority topics for policy paper, policy brief including equity and quality of education, inclusion, gender responsiveness, and education financing.
