Prakas on Model School Standard for Secondary School has been released with 5 main standards including 1) Student learning result, 2) Teaching and learning, 3) Community engagement, 4) School operation and administration, and 5) School accountability. The Prakas also includes the evaluation and monitoring tool, indicator, and mechanism of how the secondary model school shall be implemented.
Model School Standards aim to strengthen ownership of the Secondary school management and to provide quality, equitable, inclusive, effective, and sustainable education service where students will be able to receive both soft and hard skills that will prepare them for higher education and the job market.
