The 3rd National Conference on Transforming Education to promote inclusive education sector in Cambodia addressed various challenges and opportunities in the education sector.
The conference emphasized the need for increased investment in education financing, highlighting the importance of inclusive education and the role of digital transformation in enhancing learning outcomes.
Key recommendations emerged from the conference, including the need to allocate more budget for inclusive education and provide transparent information on budget allocation. It was also suggested to involve civil society organizations in the development of the Education Strategic Plan for the years 2024-2028.
Additionally, the conference proposed increasing scholarships for marginalized groups, investing in digital education, and enhancing teacher capacity building.
Lastly, there was an emphasis on strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems within the education sector.
