To celebrate Teacher’s Day and show appreciation to teachers for their invaluable contributions to society, the NGO Education Partnership (NEP), in collaboration with Kampuchea Action to Promote Education (KAPE), OEC, and Aide et Action (AEA/AE), under the FOSTER and CCOSC projects, and primary schools in Puok district, organized a special celebration of Teacher’s Day in Prasath Primary School under the theme, “Teachers are the pillars of the school towards excellence.”
Through this event, they sought to show their appreciation to teachers for their invaluable contributions to society and to emphasize the importance of education in creating a more equitable and quality education. Moreover, they hoped to raise awareness of the need for an inclusive environment for all students.
The event featured a parade of six walking tractors, traveling from Prasath Primary School to two schools in Puok District, displaying banners, and playing audio recordings of the key messages.
There was also a cultural performance, recitation, poetry, and composing by students, as well as speeches from student representatives, teacher representatives, and school management committee representatives.
The Teacher’s Day Celebration in Cambodia was a special event to honor teachers for their hard work and dedication. It was also an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of education and to promote an inclusive environment for all students.
We thank all of the organizers and participants for making this event a success.
