The 6th Khmer Literature Festival will be held in Koh Kong province, Cambodia

To celebrate National Literacy Day, NEP would like to introduce you to an exciting and interesting upcoming event, the 6th Literacy Competition under the theme “Colorful Voices” 

This Khmer Literature festival is organized by the Khmer Collaborative Writers and the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. The 6th edition will be held in Koh Kong province, Cambodia from October 20 to 22, 2023. The deadline for submission is by 10th September 2023.

The festival will feature a variety of events, including:

  • A book fair with over 100 booths from publishers, bookstores, and authors
  • Readings and performances by Khmer writers and artists
  • Panel discussions on topics related to Khmer literature
  • Workshops on writing, editing, and publishing
  • A children’s corner with activities and games

The goals of this festival are: 

  • To cultivate a love of Cambodian literature
  • To promote the honor and values of Khmer writers
