The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and its partners will host a workshop on youth development of green skills for the circular economy.
The workshop will take place on September 14-15, 2023, online via Zoom.
The workshop will focus on three key areas:
Current trends in the circular economy and the opportunities and skills requirements for green jobs.
Actions taken by educational institutions to promote green skills among students.
Peer learning encourages students to plan their studies and careers in support of the green transition.
The workshop is expected to attract professionals and experts in sustainability, circular economy, and green technologies; representatives from educational institutions, policy-makers, and entrepreneurs interested in promoting green skills development and youth employment opportunities; and students interested in green skills development.
The workshop will be organized bilingually in Thai and English, with simultaneous interpretation.
