NGO Education Partnership Cambodia (NEP) is working with the Cambodian NGO Committee on CEDAW (NGO-CEDAW) to offer member organizations an opportunity to improve their gender mainstreaming processes, procedures, and monitoring.
We invite you to register for the gender mainstreaming workshop which will focus on what organizations have achieved already, what steps they could take to remove gender discrimination, including unintentional discrimination, and to determine ways in which partners could be assisted by NEP to promote gender equality both in their organizations and in their joint work through development of actionable gender mainstreaming plans, customizing and adopting or updating their respective gender policies. NGO-CEDAW will lead the two-day workshop in Phnom Penh for an estimated 50 participants. This workshop will include an overview of key gender mainstreaming concepts , review gender issues identified in the assessment, present the gender mainstreaming policy and develop individual gender mainstreaming plans. The session will be designed to include group work with case studies to help participants understand how a gender policy can be used to improve gender equality in their organizations and programing and tailor gender mainstreaming plan.
