On 10 March 2023, approximately 300 students, teachers, parents, official from the District Office of Education and members of education sector working group in Siem Reap celebrated Reading Day campaign at 28 January High School to promote reading habit and culture among students and bring out gender mainstreaming topic in classroom and school environment. The campaign was part of the 3-year project funded by USAID through FHI360 to support provincial education sector working group in Siem Reap for their advocacy efforts to promote quality and inclusive education through capacity development, mobilizing collective action, democratic process, and advocacy campaign.
