Basic Education Equivalency Programme (BEEP) provides opportunities for marginalized and migrant youths to complete basic education.

BEEP is a cooperative project of the Ministries of Education, Youth, and Sport (MoEYS) and of Labor and Vocational Training (MoLVT), with assistance from UNESCO, to offer out-of-school youth a flexible alternative education to finish lower secondary/basic education, which is comparable to grade 9.
BEEP enables young people in Cambodia to continue their professional endeavors while pursuing their academic interests.
A basic education will allow them to advance their knowledge and abilities for more respectable employment chances.
The BEEP course is offered online on Moodle, an open-source learning management system, which is now available in Khmer courtesy to BEEP and World Education’s EdTech Center in support of the United Nations Joint Programme (UNJP) on Youth Employment in Cambodia.
