Barriers to Secondary Education in the Asia Pacific Region: A Scoping Review of Four Countries
Description: This scoping report is the final outcome of the Scottish Funding Council Global Challenge Research Fund supported Universal Secondary Education in the Asia Pacific Region project. The project brought together academic and non-academic partners, including international organizations and civil society networks, to explore how countries and communities in the Asia Pacific region can best respond to the Sustainable Development Goal 4 requirement of universal secondary education. The final scoping report drew from
case studies in Bangladesh, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR), Mongolia, and the
Philippines to address three research questions:
