The finding of Child Marriage and Young Mother in Rattanakiri province in September demonstrates that one in nine girls marries at a young age between 12 and 17 years old — Women and Children Consultative Committee. Therefore, parents, guardians, youth, CSOs, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders should jointly intervene and prevent Child Marriage.
