Led by the ministry of education and partners including GPE, the Capacity Development Partnership Fund (CDPF) is enabling education professionals in one of Cambodia’s poorest provinces to get trained in statistics and data analysis.
In Kampong Thom province, school administrators and teachers are able to collect, process and use data on student academic performance and attendance to inform their lesson plans and to improve the school. For children in this province, CDPF has made a world of difference because teachers can better respond to the specific needs and challenges of their students.
To ensure the system is effective, school directors in Kampong Thom attend statistics and data analysis workshops, and they in turn hold professional development sessions for their own staff.
